The International PDP program in Medellín, Colombia provides opportunities for local educators - including teachers and school/district administrators - to broaden their experience, comfort and understanding of education throughout the world through a partnership with The Columbus School in Medellín. IPDP Colombia Experienced Educators Exchange is a collaboration between United States and Colombian educators. During the February break, educators from Western New York travel to Colombia to visit schools in and around Medellín, live with host teachers from The Columbus School, and delve into local education, history and culture. In September/October teachers from The Columbus School travel to Buffalo to observe in area schools, visit Buffalo State courses and programs, tour area attractions, and live with local families.
